Niche Works
Small business tools and ideas to help you work smarter.
Simple prompts and focused sessions that cut waste, bring clarity, and create momentum.
What is Niche Works?
Running a small business can feel busy but not always productive. Niche Works gives you tools to think sharper, reset your focus, and move forward with clarity and momentum.
The first tool is the Niche Works Prompt Deck. 30 practical prompts drawn from real small-business experience. Each card helps you pause and reflect, or take the next clear step.
The Prompt Deck
Printed and digital only versions available.
A curated deck of practical prompts for small business owners. Enough variety to keep you going week after week, without fluff or filler.
Each card gives you either clarity (a moment to pause and think sharper) or momentum (a nudge to act and move forward).
Cards are printed in small batches locally in Shellharbour or you can obtain digital only access.
Use it once a week, or pull a card when you feel stuck.
Clarity cards: step back, reflect, zoom out.
Momentum cards: quick actions to create progress right now.
About Craig
I am a business operator, not a coach.
I’m Craig Baylis. For 14 years I’ve run Coastal Strata, one of NSW’s leading strata reporting businesses.
I also co-founded and exited a strata management business, and I founded and built Niche Cowork from project managing the demo and fit-out, to branding, signage, and everything you see and interact with today.
What I enjoy most is lean thinking and building businesses that run smoothly. I focus on:
Removing waste in time and money
Designing simple, efficient operations
Creating consistent client experiences (mapping every touchpoint from signage to systems)
Using tech and automation to save effort
Building workflows that scale without stress
I’ve lived the ups and downs of growing, hiring, selling, and streamlining.
My strength is spotting where things can be made easier, clearer, and more effective.
